Changing mouse pointers in Windows XP

Windows XP offers a lot of flexibility if you'd like to use a different mouse pointer. You can switch all your pointers at once, or you can switch them one a time.

To switch from standard mouse pointers:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Appearance and Themes. Under See Also, click Mouse Pointers.

On the Pointers tab, do one of the following:

Switch all of your pointers at once, in the Scheme list, click the scheme you want. To change pointers one at a time, in the Customize list, click the pointers you want to change. After each selection, click Browse, click the pointer image you want to assign as a replacement (a preview of the image displays in the lower left-hand corner), and then click Open. Click Apply and OK to complete the procedure.
